If I had to compare this book to anything, I would say it is a worse written A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder. I enjoyed the pace once it quickened (about a third of the way through), and it was an overall easy read that didn’t bore me. I think the main character’s ideas came to her too easily and quite honestly, she was a terrible friend and had no character development once so ever. I also wish we learned more from her POV instead of her sister’s. I wish we learned more about the Carly subplot like I’m confused. And selfishly, I wish the murders were tied together.

In the end, I would still recommend this book!

A mix of Dare Me and A Good Girl Guide to Murder. The main character is frustrating because she never asks the right questions.

3⭐️!!

no flaming complaints about this book but the pacing was a lottle slow for my liking. I absolutely love when books like these have small snippets from years back, to someone involved in the murders POV, and this book did not dissappoint with that!!

overall, solid read. might consider picking up kara’s other books but not atm!

I finished this book in two days. It was a page turner I just couldn’t put down. But, that being said, while I did enjoy the book it left me feeling a bit underwhelmed. And it wasn’t until the very last “twist” (if you could even call it that) in the last chapter that I kind of enjoyed how that part came together.
