This was a reread for me. I read this book three years ago. My views didn't change very much on this book.
Spoiler
Thomas wakes up on a lift and is surrounded by strangers. He can't remember anything except his first name. There are plenty of boys around him, just boys. He can see walls and wants to know what is outside of the walls. The boys tell him about The Glade. Thomas really wants to go out there and conquer the maze, even though nobody has made it through the maze alive. A girl shows up and looks at Thomas. She says his name. Thomas doesn't remember her. Everyone looks at him and wonders why this girl knows Thomas and why a girl is finally among them. She has a message for all of them.
I had a lot of thoughts on this book! Read my somewhat spoilery review here: http://bottombookshelf.tumblr.com/post/71778448313
James Dashner sure knows how to keep an audience in suspense. Can't wait to read The Scorch Trials!
