I always loved this book; really, I have a soft spot for children's books, so I'm not sure my reviews should be considered as worth much in these cases. Still, the Poky Little Puppy was one of my very very favorites.

For an ebook app, this one is very good. Haven't read the story in years so it was fun to read again.

Legit my favorite childhood book. My mom called me the poky little puppy because I was slow in the mornings, but when I re-read it earlier this year, I'm hardly like this puppy at all haha. Still a cute story full of silly puppies.

I see why this is a classic -- it's got repetition, great pictures, changing details, and a come-uppance. And puppies.

I liked the story as a child. I read it to my younger brother a lot. And then I read it to my son for what seemed like thousands of times. We must have had at least three copies of the book. It got to the point where we read it so much we would hide the book and my son always seemed to find another copy! LOL It is a fun little story and certainly popular with the todler set.
