The social commentary in this one was striking. It was very though provoking. It's a pretty shor book but does it's job of making you immersed in it. I liked the ending as well. You never know what to expect from japanese literature. It's always a wild ride.

I can apprieciate that she is a really good writer and want to read some of her other things but not sure if this was for me. I found it hard to read some scenes but i guess that’s the point. it’s from the point of view of a 14 year old boy but i feel like it’s written a bit too adult. loved the conversations between him and kojima so much tho <3
