a really interesting book I would say. several days have passed since I read it and still I don't think I have processed it fully. very sad, very touching, the dialogue was beautiful and the characters easy to feel for and care about.

the only thing I didn't like (because it made me uncomfortable) was the extensive sexual scene, as the characters involved were really young.

I recommend it.

I'll be short with this review. The book was nice but it wasn't my type. There are a lot of parts I couldn't understand or find their meaning, and the overall story felt a bit simple and boring. Of course, that's probably coming from the very different cultures and experiences.

for example, I've been bullied but only verbally. I can't remember ever seeing someone being physically bullied like the characters here, so for me it's hard to understand how and why would you let people treat you like that. Why would you agree to have chalk stuffed in your nose or drink questionable fluids? As well as accepting that saying you're bullied ill bring shame to you and your family. As I said, cultural differences that stop me from understanding the plot fully

I can't say it's a bad book. I can only say it's not the book for me.

Def very depressing, but also the way their trauma bond turned into friendship and how they quietly showed they cared
