There’s definitely some interesting philosophical questions posed by this book, but mostly I just found the Time Traveller to be an arrogant, judgmental POS ruled too much by his flaws.

Before it’s time. I wasn’t a huge fan of the story itself but I was fascinated and pleasantly surprised by a lot of the different science fiction elements. Not at all what I was expecting of a book circa 19th century.

Audiobook production has improved since this came out. I will look for a more modern version at some point.

Not sure why this is such a highly regarded book. Maybe, because the author is actually talking about time travel?? This is the same author who wrote [b:The War of the Worlds|8909|The War of the Worlds|H.G. Wells|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1320391644s/8909.jpg|3194841]; which was underwhelming, as well.

This was just meh, for me. Sorry, not sorry.
