The first few hundred pages didn't grab me but the rest of this book sure as hell did. This book was great!

This is such a cute book. Well, as cute as zombie books can get anyways. Really good plotline, always something happening. Plenty to keep you interested. My second zombie book, and I'd have to say I am very impressed. The characters are kick butt. Overall great book!

Um. Well. Yeah. I did NOT expect to devour this book the way I, in fact, devoured it! So so good in such a different way from the rest of the zombie genre. Great characters, very real plot-lines, and stinkin' interesting!!! Maberry is gritty without being unnecessarily gross or ghoulish and I really appreciate the big-picture questions that are batted around in the entire thing. I'm told I am in for more of the same, so I am psyched to start #2!
