These were my favourite books as a teenager. Jinx and the mediator ones are my favourite YA Meg Cabot Books. My favourite all time books by her are the adult Heather Wells ones. Back to the mediator I so need to read the marriage one.

This book had a really interesting premise and, I have to say, I'm not disapponted. I would have liked there to be more in the book but since it's a series, I didn't mind it much.

I really like the writing. It flows well, it's easy to read, it's funny and it kept me interested. I didn't ever feel like the book was getting boring or slow (whcih can happen very easily).

I'd love to know more about Jesse and about Doc. He was really cute and I loved reading about him.

Just one problem. I wish there had been an explanation for why Heather was as powerful as she was. She was more powerful than a nprmal ghost and it wasn't really explained why that was. Other than that, I have no problem with this book. I'll be reading the next book soon...

After the DNF-desaster of [b:Abandon|9397967|Abandon (Abandon, #1)|Meg Cabot|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1324767084s/9397967.jpg|11351526] which was unlikeable and boring, I was thinking wether to read another series I anticipated by her or not.
As I had already bought it, I decided to read it rather soon as to abandon it early on if it was written the same way.
But it was rather good, with just a little too much romance. Love triangle, but well developed and with an ok solution.
Really like the characters.
Also the ethics and moral of solving conflicts with a fist in the face is questioned, as is the death penalty or killing the killer.
Already read the next two books in the series, which I also recommend and will certainly read the next books (and another one is supposed to be published 2016, taking place in a time after finishing school, yeah, something to look forward to).
Recommended.

Totally a guilty pleasure read for me. A series I read in high school.
But an easy quick read and I will probably try to find the second book somewhere.

I'll probably pick up the next one as my sister has the whole series and loves it. I listened to the audio book and thought it will done enough. The story was interesting but pretty typical. The main delight of this story is the characters though. They were all great, especially the step brothers. I love the dynamic of a missed family like this. No taboo romance no evil step sibling, just real relationships. It's refreshing.
