I've actually read this about 20 times - pretty much every year out loud to all of my classes! Wonderful wonderful book:)

I laughed out loud. I recommended it to an older male friend who saw himself and loved it.

Harris and Me is a story of a boy who goes to a farm to live with family over one summer. He doesn't really know them at all or the first thing about living on a farm, but he learns. Along the way he has a lot of adventures with his cousin, Harris, and they get into all sorts of trouble.

I read this book in one day. I thought it was really funny and love the way Paulsen writes. I seem to always be able to find myself in his stories.

Due to the sporadic cursing and some questionable content, I'm not sure that I would use this book in my classroom unless it was going to be a read aloud where I could omit certain words and content.
