I would give this book 6 stars if I could! It is absolutely one of my favorite books! I first read it months ago, and just finished rereading it. It was just as fantastic this time around. This book feels like taking a hot bath after a long day. There is something so soothing about Shawn and Lacey’s love.

Shawn and Lacey are so incredible together. The characters are mature, and pretty open with how they’re feeling even while trying to figure out their complicated situation of friends to fake dating and friends with benefits to lovers. They are each other’s favorite person and safe place. Chelsea Curto is an incredible author and I feel infinitely lucky to have come across this book and series.

Shawn and Lacey are friends who find themselves going viral after a kiss cam incident at one of Shawn’s NFL games. They use the situation to their advantage and begin fake dating. Along the way lines blur and feelings begin to change!
I love a good fake dating, friends to lovers trope! The banter between Shawn and Lacey was great! I love that both Shawn and Lacey communicated their feelings so perfectly. The spice in this book was absolutely *chef’s kiss* Shawn has quite the mouth on him and it was nice to see Lacey own her sexuality!
If you love the friends to lovers, fake dating, and sports romances tropes then this book is for you!

absolutely loved this story

Yes yes yes we all know it’s a love story but man this one just hits all the perfect buttons! The back story, the build, the banter, the steam! I couldn’t love these characters anymore if I tried. I was rooting for them the whole time!

This was so good! I absolutely loved Shawn and Lacey and how their relationship progressed. Shawn was such a sweetheart and I definitely teared up when he and Lacey were delivering Christmas presents to the neighbors and we learned about Derek and his daughters. I appreciated the low drama and no third act break up. These two truly put their friendship first and I think that is what helped their relationship be strong. The only reason this wasn’t 5 stars was because it was a touch too long for me and some parts felt like the story was dragging.

I just finished Caught on Camera and OMFG - an instant 5-star read. Only one other time have I immediately wanted to turn back to the title page and immediately restart the book.

The spice, the chemistry, the LOVE. I don’t think I’ve ever highlighted as many entire pages before. I laughed and cried and grinned at my book like an absolute dork and loved every minute.

Shawn and Lacey are fantastic-frigging-tastic. An NFL coach and a pediatrician who are friends and decide to fake date only to realize how well they click. This book has alllll the tropes: We’re talking fake dating, friends to lovers, dirty talk, one bed, he falls first and SO MUCH MORE. 10/10, 5 stars,
