I thought it was nice while reading but didn't stick out to me after reading the rest of the series.

I loved this couple - great banter, no 3rd act breakup. I’d consider rereading at some point which is very rare for me.

The characters were cute and
the writing in parts was fun, but overall I just didn’t foresee a very interesting plot beyond what was very easily predicted. The shift from friends to flirting was also so abrupt. What ultimately made me put this down was the long winded writing about things that seemed not at all necessary.

I love all of these characters so much! I also loved that there wasn't any third act break up.  It was a bit annoying how long it took them to figure their feelings out and be honest about it. But I enjoyed that there wasn't a huge amount of angst and that there wasn't any big issues. It was just a lovely story about two friends falling in love.

This was an interesting one for me. It even started off strong but due to some odd choices, dragged out story, and some unrealistic elements, i kept having to lower the rating.

The good stuff.
1) Interesting starting premise. The kiss cam plot device that jumpstarted the story was unique.
2) Lovely hero, albeit quite unrealistic. Both hero and heroine were written to be too good to be true. There were literally no flaws in either.
3) I've never read a romance without a third act conflict. Author showed it could be done so I hope others consider writing some romances this way. It was refreshing.

The bad stuff.
1) The book could have ended 100 pages shorter. Towards the end, all we were reading were repeated declarations of love...not always even differently. There was no additional plot. Just love dialogue.
2) While characters were nice, SO So unrealistic. The level of perfection the author wrote in these two became outrageous and almost cheesy Hallmark. I went from, "oh that's sweet" t rolling my eyes at the end.
3) The spice level was high but not the issue. I don't mind it. It was just a bit jarring to read a Hallmark like story then a Cinemax love scene every other chapter. The tone didn't quite fit. Not terrible. Just...a bit weird. For those who like cheese, the sexy chapters would NOT be up their alley.

The most oblivious people who are in love from the beginning but don't realise it. Cute story but everything went too smoothly.
