What an amazing love story.
I’m a sucker for best friends to lovers in any book. However, this one is so much more. It wasn’t that they were in love from the second they met they were truly best friends before the thought of love even occurred. Their love developed as their friendship grew. It was truly beautiful.

This was absolutely a BookTok made me do it. I had seen several videos describing Lacey not being kissed on the Kiss Cam at a football game and then her best friend, the head coach, sweeping it. It was even more fun that I imagined. I found the writing fantastic and immediately clicked to buy the other books in the series as well. I loved both Lacey and Shawn and the whole fake dating set up. I could go on about this for ages, but I have definitely found a new author favorite.

This was so good! Chelsea is an instant-buy author for me ever since I first read An Unexpected Paradise. One of my favorite things about Chelsea’s books are that lack of miscommunication trope. I get why sometimes it’s necessary to a story but having characters run on confronting feelings head-on and general good vibes is superior! lol. Loved Lacey and Shawn and all their chemistry! Can’t wait to read about Dallas!!!!
