The fake dating trope never gets old to me, but when you add sports and friends-to-lovers in the mix? It’s a combination that had me unable to stop turning the pages as quickly as I could. The spicy scenes in this book were so well-written - I could feel the emotions they were trying so hard to keep under wraps every time. And the ending? I couldn’t have thought of anything better. I absolutely love these characters. I’m off to read more in the series now!

i would read a grocery list if chelsea curto wrote it

for me

This book was really good. My biggest complaint is the Maven. She’s 18 but the entire book they act like she’s five. It was really annoying. Her character was weird and she was not treated like she was 18. It made no sense. Besides that I loved the book. The couple was sooo cute. I loved them together. If it wasn’t for annoying things like maven treatment this book would be at least 4 stars. Great book, would recommend. 3.5/5
funny medium-paced

This book was hot & steamy, extremely cheesy at times and certain scenes were a little unrealistic but you know, I enjoyed it regardless!

Lacey and Shawn’s chemistry was so fun and even though I hate books where their feelings for each other are so obvious but neither of them see it, but I’ll let this one slide because of how entertaining it was.

An incredibly uneven book. Some parts were great while others were incredibly boring. Sometimes I invited the characters while other times, I thought they came across as immature and annoying. This was just okay.

ugh, Shawn and Lacey are so stinkin' adorable! sweet with a couple of dashes of spice, and excellent banter ❤️ this series might just be a top fav of mine

Holy moly did I devour this book in two days…. YES YES I DID!! The level of spice and romance had my heart racing. I was also giggling throughout the book at how cute Shawn and Lacey we’re especially when you add in the fake dating trope.
