So, this story revolves around a very interesting concept. Internal/infernal human combustion is now the leading cause of death. People randomly combust and become these fiery, demonic entities that can only be extinguished by members of the so-called Fire Force. Some members are partially combustible themselves, allowing them to fight on even footing with these demons.
It’s a pretty interesting start and I’m looking forward to reading more~

The storyline was cool and interesting, but there was unnecessary explicit illustration of girls and the main character groped one of the characters for no reason.

Summary:
Fire has always been a thing of nightmares for many. In this world, people are at risk of spontaneously combusting and turning into Infernals. An Infernal wants only one thing - to destroy. They are no longer considered human. That is where the Fire Force comes into play. It's their duty to protect the people.
Shinra was dubbed as "the devil" at a young age. You could blame his firey footprints (devil's footprints)...or his awkwardly menacing smile. Either way, he's here to join the Fire Force and become a hero.
Review:
I've been hearing a lot about Fire Force, and I do mean a lot. I've intended to read/watch it for a while and haven't gotten around to it. But when I heard that it is somehow connected to Soul Eater (I haven't looked into the how, in case it's a spoiler), I knew I had to stop procrastinating.
Fire Force Vol. 1 is a solid start to this new (to me) series. Readers are quickly walked through the dangers of the world and the reason behind the Fire Force. Likewise, we're introduced to a fairly wide cast of characters. I'm hoping that, with time, we'll get to know them more, so I can figure out who my favorite is.
This series is going to hold a lot of action. Fighting Infernals is hard and dangerous work, and Atsushi Ohkubo isn't going to shy away from that fact. So if you love action-fueled series, this is probably one to check out.
Much like Soul Eater, Fire Force has some fan service. There are usually one or two characters that this is reserved for, and we've met the first of these characters in this volume. I'll admit that the level of fan service-ness is disappointing, largely because her outfit makes zero sense (exposing skin to fire sounds stupid).
Will I continue the series? Yes
Highlights:
Manga – Shonen
Connected to Soul Eater
Lots of Action
Trigger Warnings:
Fire related deaths
Familial deaths
