I had a lot of fun with this collection. My favorites were: Never look up, Start the movie and Red albums.

So I'll be the first to write a review on "Darkest. Deepest." on here. Overall, I liked the short story collection, the most memorable and most impactful for me are probably  'Small Spaces' and 'The Face Below' - featuring two phobias of mine. There were others that left me saying to myself 'wtf did I just read', some were brutal and some I didn't care for in any regard. Some made me quite emotional. I feel like the impact depends on what makes someone uncomfortable or freak out, what someone is looking for in horror. Wolfe might have covered a lot of different facets of horror. I'd say give this indie publication a go and see how you'll like!
