“A second is always a second; that’s the one definitive value we have on earth. Everyone is always negotiating, all of the time. You’re doing the deal of your life, every day. This was mine.”

At first I was a bit confused reading this book but then I remembered there short stories in one book. I love Fredrick Backman, his book are amazing and there are only two books of his that I have not liked. Beartown is one of my favourite books, I still have to read The Winners, I am hoping to read that book during my Christmas vacation. I am very excited to read that book. I will read this book again, because I read it on my IPad and I feel like I missed some things. These short stories are personal and really let you get to know the person. This man's writing is excellent, and I will always pick up a new book that he writes, whenever he writes a new book.

A bit of a heart-wrenching tale of a father, writing to his son. A short tale, my second read from the same author and I must admit - I have a new favourite author now.
