GENDERFLUID WITCHES! GENDER IS MAGIC!

Four stars instead of five because, just like with the first book in the duology, sometimes it felt like plot points and emotional beats were moving really fast and could’ve used moments to breathe? BUT love found family, love radical world-shaping based on acceptance and freedom, love the Teo-Cielo relationship so much.

This felt like 2 books squashed into one, the plot structure was a little all over the place. I didn't really mind that though, everything that happened was interesting and important. I loved being able to read another book about these wonderful characters! The ending was extremely satisfying, with everything falling into place.

Great follow-up/ending. Love these. I would love to read more books set in this universe.
