This was a cute one. There were a lot of elements to this story that I enjoyed.

I feel like everyone has told me to read this for years and I now finally have!
My mum gave me a nevermoor boxset for my birthday this month and thought: okay now I will start!

And I am so happy I did. Such a lovely, magical story. Love the world that is created, the trials and I really like Morrigan.

Curious to see how it will continue and if it, like the HP series which it is often compared to, gets better and darker with each book or if they stay good middle grade reads

After reading book three, I can very definitively say that Morrigan Crow's saga is one of my very favorites of all time. I knew it would be, but needed to tell everyone!

Morrigan is the series you guys need to be handing to kids asking for HP instead of HP. It's significantly more inclusive. That sense of wonder you get from reading HP for the first time? Double or triple it with these books. I can't spoil it outright, but it's magical and wondrous. I would describe this book as a cross between My Hero Academia and any magical school series. Please give this book and series a shot! The audiobook version in particular is a treat. Gemma Whelan's got distinct and recognizable accents for everyone, and listening to her voice feels like eating candy. Go get this series ASAP from your local library!!

I loved this so much! It was fun and inventive and just a feel good book. It definitely deserves to be read much more widely than it is. I'm planning to purchase the whole series for my home library.

This was a 3.5 for me. It was good!...but that's it. It wasn't terribly memorable and doesn't really make me want to read the next book in the series.

Also, don't bother with the audiobook unless you like over-the-top English accents for some of the characters.
