My first experience with short stories in the romance genre. And this is not my go to genre. But I enjoyed some of the stories.

lovely love story in paris, very romantic (after all, it's paris), romanticised in some ways - people being nice and friendly (i mean, most people are nice but it's rare that tourists are satisfied with their experience in paris - check the paris syndrome). fabien's nice guy, maybe i wanted more character development for him, as it felt a bit lacking towards the end; a feel of "he's a nice guy, he has big dreams, cool for him?"
i really liked the experience of nell travelling abroad for the first time, it's so adorable to see her discovering paris; however, i wished there was more things written about culture shock (because i bet there are some, even though france and england are close) and fabien and nell discovering each other not only personally but also through the culture... anyway, it was a good, heart-warming read and i would recommend it

Unlike some readers, I really enjoyed the short stories in this book (preferred them even to Paris for One). They explored more realistic areas of life in relationships, a nice departure from the typical “leave town and fall in love” storyline. Because of this, I’d recommend the last 40% of the book. Paris for One can be taken or left.

Half of this book was focused on a sweet little romantic story of a woman taking the chance on adventure one weekend in Paris. The second half of the book was a collection of short stories that were all just as entertaining.

Absolutely loved these stories. I listened to it in one day while working from home.

Really heart warming and made me smile a lot.
