~edit because I need to not write reviews at 1:30 am~

The spice in this book was in fact top tier. However, watch your triggers.

I did not like the main character at all. I found her annoying, and she had little to know growth as a character. I did like the brothers; in fact, I fell in love with one of them. I will admit that I also cried at the end, but that is because I am a hopeless romantic.

I have to knock a few points off just because there were some continuity issues in places, and spots where conversations didn't quite make sense. Could've used a little extra time in the editing department.

Bordering on incestual and kinda weird. All smut scenes are angsty and rough- some a little triggering. The men in this book and humongous egos and think they can control the main character just because she lives with them.

I couldn’t get past the uncle and cousin factor, it was too much for me .

First of all- what the fuck was that

Second of all- I would just like to know why Tiernan started out as 17 when she could have been 18/19 from the start and just gone to the mountain to get away from the tabloids/paparazzi. The step family taboo would still be there without grooming a minor. It would have made the book 10x less awful.

Now this romanticised abuse. What do u mean tiernan fell in love with the one that attempted to r*pe her and then in the epilogue they JOKED about it???? He never even apologised!!!! And he literally said not one word to her like bro how are u in love with someone that hasn't said a word to u and humiliates you AND hits you?? Whole time tiernan was saying how much she missed kaleb and loves him i was looking at my kobo with the biggest stank face.

Don't even get me started on probably the 40 year old step uncle grooming tiernan and touching her when she was 17 and then using that as an excuse to his sons for why he should have her over them because he "got there first".

Literally the only sane people in this book were noah and mirai.

This book is not for everyone. I chose this book because of the warning that was given in the beginning. I read this book faster than any book I have ever read. I will read this book again.

I enjoyed the first part of the book. I tried REALLY hard to overlook the problematic elephant in the room of non-relative-relative situation. But the moment she called him Uncle Jake-nope! This really didn’t need a family connection. It could have been a girl staying and working on a farm or something. Finished the book only because I need to reach my reading goals.
