I really didn’t like it at first because they’re her family but it ended up growing on me. A lot of parts were kinda weird, but the writing was really good

I just don't know what I just read.

This is my first Penelope DouglasI still don't understand Tiernan; who in the right mind hooks up with her "family"? I know they're not family BUT come on!!! He supposed to be her uncle, and they are her cousins!!!!! Also, both at the same time??? She'a a SLUT, definitely one....sorry I'm kinda old fashion. I don't know if I should give it 3 stars because I feel like I just read it for the sake of finish it and not DNF it. I felt that Kaleb wasn't for her; I didn't like him, he's creepy, not sure why she likes him or why she's attracted to him. Kaleb is just a well grown man who hasn't understood that he needs to get his s**t together and mentally grow up. She just needs therapy, for sure because she's messed up. I was rooting for Jake tho or at least Noah; they have more of a connection with Tiernan rather than Kaleb. My 3 stars are only because I loved the setting; in my opinion, the story needed more development in few scenes.

I wish there was a scene with the three of them together, I love who she ends up with but the ending was slightly dissatisfying after so much heat.

This book had me hooked from page one... I read this in one sitting minus the first two chapters I started last night.

This book is definitely not going to be for everyone as it has to do with a taboo situation. There is a scene in the beginning as well as close to the end that could be taken as a scene where consent is not plainly given.

Though this is a taboo subject I couldn't help but get invested and love these characters. They are each "damaged" in different ways yet similar ways. They build bonds based off of that and then the book takes off from there.

I recommend this novel to people who don't mind serious and taboo topics.
