I didn't really like the way the story was being told. It was dragging for me and I became bery disinterested. It was a lot of flashbacks, dreams, illusions with no distinction. Like how some authors put dreams in italics. I just skipped to the last chapter.

This is definitely not a light read. And I was questioning the MMC throughout the whole book until the end LITERALLY THE LAST TWO PAGES. He was clouded by his trauma of course but what he did was still creepy especially

when he took the FMC to this place and has her blind folded to think that these 5 guys are molesting her but in the end it’s just him

. HOWEVER the author did have the list of trigger warnings at the beginning of the book with a warning so you’re not unprepared. Overall I can’t wait for the next book to come out and see the character development in the MMC and his relationship with the FMC.
