ok i liked it a lot, already loved bass from the other series and that scene with him and rocklin in brielle's book was so fun i was so so excited and tho i wasn't that disappointed, i just needed a little bit more!
i like the banter, their banter was fantastic and hot and funny but just idk i needed little moments little key moments between them to fully see the development from sexual attraction to true love you know? just more i guess i needed more scenes of them connecting emotionally, tho i liked it a lot and rocklin being a badass that she is and being a queen was amazing yeah i felt like i needed more of them!! intriguing for the second book so yeah
bass and rocklin truly are made for each other and im happy bass got to be in her world as her equal too even better yeah!! also the cameos from the brayshaw and raven? was everything i do miss them all not gonna lie 🤭

I was addicted from page one, and Bastian Bishop had my jaw on the floor countless times - sweet mother of… If you need to dip your toes into dark romance territory, need a possessive and over-the-top alpha male mixed with the criminal underworld, this is your sign to read this bad boy of a book.

Bash MF Bishop 🥰 First, Alex Kydd killed this audio as Bishop. I melted every time that guy talked 😂
This book was long. 17 hr audio book at 1.0. I didn’t feel it needed to be that long. There was a lot of info that I felt was just thrown in there but didn’t really make sense or was confusing.
The overall story was okay and I’m glad I read it. Just not my favorite MB book.

I nearly DNF'd this one - I just found it soooo difficult to follow. Some of it felt very repetitive too - it could've probably been 100 pages shorter. I did enjoy the twists but I did struggle keeping up with what was going on, and the characters weren't super likeable. Meh 😩

DNF! I have tried several times since July to read this and I made it to page 280. The stubborn side of me wanted to finish it after hearing so many positive reviews.
However, this was not what I expected. The plot was all over the place. These high schoolers should have been written as adults.
The descriptions were so confusing. It was like paragraphs of trying to explain some sexy pose the FMC is sitting in.
