The audiobook is fantastic, kudos to Jeremy Carlisle Parker. I felt immersed and very understanding of Fallon’s conviction, if a bit self-righteous.

I am a sucker for a friends to lovers to enemies to lovers again trope... normally. Don't get me wrong, I did enjoy this book overall but sometimes there was something a little bit off with the story, and I think it had something to do with Fallon being the narrator. Perhaps this story could have been improved with a different perspective, say from Chloe - whose inner thoughts may have been less grating, hopefully. However, it was a fun and quick little read that, in the end, did make me smile... except when I think about the fact that one mature conversation could have wrapped this story up much quicker, but oh well.

It's really annoying when the main character is like, so intensely, "no, i hate this bitch. She destroyed me. She doesn't deserve any time from me" but you immediately tell that she's going to be on her knees a hundred pages later. 

I pressed on because I didn't have any other book with me on my trip. 

I just find it so annoying. Why did you spend all that time throwing tantrums when you were going to fall for her, again, anyway?

And I found the characters of Fallon and Chloe quite bothersome as well. It was an infinite game of ping pong. One getting mad at the other for x thing the other did. Then the one doing that x thing and the other getting mad at the one for it. MAN.

It ended all well though. And the cover's very pretty, but, the major good thing is the idea of the ice cream truck and the flavour names. It was very cute.
