I was excited for this as I absolutely adored House of Hollow. I also really loved Sutherland’s writing style in this book. What is not to love about lesbian witches? I really loved the three differing points of view and how it all came together at the end. I recommend this book! I also will be lovingly waiting for Sutherland’s next release.

I really enjoyed this book! If you’re into witches, slow-burn sapphic romance, & supernatural mysteries I think you will too. It definitely has some creepy elements (but it’s not scary) so I think it would be a great atmospheric read for the Halloween season.

Once again Krystal Sutherland has blown me away. I loved House of Hollow and The Invocations has exceeded my expectations. The magical, witchy and dark atmosphere made reading this so fun and I was completed absorbed into this mystery. I truly didn't want to put this down and the plot twists had me completely shocked. Sutherland never fails to disappoint and once I start her books I don't want to put them down until I finish. I can't recommend this enough.
