It is LONG. But I found it a striking and poignant picture of modern marriage and childrearing.

Second book by Nathan Hill and I am still a big fan. I didn’t like this one as much as The Nix, but I still thoroughly enjoyed it. He managed to capture observations in this book that I’ve never thought to put to words, nor did I think they were common experiences.

My only critique would be that this one jumped around in a more unpredictable way than The Nix did, so it was a tad bit more jarring.

Maybe 3.5 stars but I'm rounding up since it finally broke a streak of just ok books
