okay woah this book should have been a few separate books - there was a lot going on here and it all seemed like jumbled thoughts, not really a coherent storyline

After reading the first chapter, I thought wow this book is going to be great, but then you have to slog through the next 350 pages for the actual story to start. I kept abandoning this book because it was so hard to get through. Finally after about 400 pages the story starts to get good when the couple goes to the club, and you start to finally see their story, and then it breaks into tangents about algorithms again and you want to slam your head against the desk as you read because it’s so boring again. I thought the end of the book made this worth it, but it was a very long boring journey at certain places through the book.
