I love Deborah Levy with my whole heart. While this book is probably the weakest of her memoir trilogy, and probably could have done with being the same short length as the others, it’s still an absolute marvel. I feel like I’m with her walking the streets of Paris and swimming in the Aegean Sea.

Deeply satisfying ending to a trilogy about life and living, about imagination, solitude and unreal estate.

I will think about this for a long time. That's what makes a book five stars. Staying rent free in one's head.

My best regards to Deborah for this.
