This is such a fun collection of stories! Some authors I was already acquainted with and others were new to me.

Great collection of short monster love stories with HEA endings. Really good way to sample and get a feel for new authors, worlds and monsters you might not otherwise see.

My Monster Valentine is a monster romance anthology involving 11 monster romance authors. I discovered the book from a post or newsletter from Lyonne Riley and just knew I needed. Monster romances have become some of my favorites after picking up some of Avaromancebook's recommendations that I just fell in love with. Also, I have recently read a story by Lyonne Riley and a few other included authors. The anthology was fun, perfect for readers interested in sampling these authors and various types of monsters in romances. However, most of the stories landed at a 3 star rating, being an average read that I'd likely forget about and wasn't in love with. This was mainly due to not being fully invested in the characters or plot, and wishing some had that little more something that would have really pulled me in. For example, Vexing the Vampires I rated lower because I'm not interested in romances involving siblings together in the relationship and My Indecent Valentine started off sweet but ended sour, I felt gross reading about the narration and the con non(?) of the characters "having to have" sex and being watched. Despite these minor issues I had, I enjoyed myself for the most part and found myself down a rabbit hole looking into the author's backlists' and art to have a clearer image of the characters. I am interested in continuing to read romances by these authors.
