It was a good book up until about 70% I was kinda skipping pages for a bit and then Ford was a complete child when he got injured and you knew it was coming from the foreshadowing of the creek. But still he acted spoilt and like a brat not a 28 year old man - well actually doesnt surprise me about that. Anyway he was so immature and Mia was perfectly in her right to act as she did like a smart independen woman who deserves a whole lot better than him. And he thought a sorry would fix it grow up man. At least he did do more but still, in that moment I nearly DNF because he irritated me so much

I adore the Madigan brothers. I thought nothing could live up to the Griffen siblings and I’m so glad I was wrong. I really liked Ford and Mia. I think it helped that we got to know them through the previous books in the series. Mia is the epitome of a boss ass bitch. I wanna be her when I grow up. I love how she stood up for herself and didn’t settle for anything else. Ford was the perfect man. Like he’s a star quarterback and he realizes his wrongs and puts in so much effort to work through them? Literally perfect. I’m sad that I’ve read through the entire series and now I have to wait for Hayes’ story. I can’t wait for that, the epilogue got me really excited for it.

She’s a CEO of a billion dollar company and he is a decade younger quarterback just out of the Super Bowl. They both need a fake relationship to deal with different career issues, seems like a perfect solution. I loved Mia, she is strong, confident, sexy and she knows her worth. If these little guys don’t treat her properly, she will not waist her time. I wish I could always be that confident.

Mia Baird is a kicka$$ CEO and Ford Madigan is dominating the football world, the problem is they are both single. Usually that wouldn’t be an issue, except that the board of Mia’s company doesn’t have a lot of faith in her as a woman and she needs something bright and shiny to win them over. At the same time, Ford’s coach tries to pretty much blackmail him into dating his daughter and Ford is NOT feeling it. Enter fake relationship gold. Kelsie Hoss has a way of writing characters that make them feel like the bff you have from college even though they are larger than life in their specific careers. I can see myself hitting a bar with Mia and dancing all night long, or calling Ford when I get a flat tire because I have nobody else to help me out. The problem with the two of them is that Mia deserves sunshine and butterflies and she busts her butt for everyone around her, but Ford is anti-relationships and doesn’t appreciate Mia like she deserves. This book does have a third act breakup, but the redemption arc is really sweet and I love how Kelsie gives them their HEA in the end.
