There’s really just something addicting about these books. Are they formulaic? Yeah. But do I enjoy the hell out of them? Uh, heck yeah.
I loved Mia from Hello Billionaire and I really grew to like Ford. He made a pretty harsh error and I was so proud of Mia for sticking to her worth and not settling for promises that could have easily been broken. I was so proud of Ford for getting help and oh my god the letters he wrote Mia had me so emotional.
One of my favorites in the series for sure! Onto the next!

SUMMARY:
Fake dating was not in the plan this year. Especially since Mia Baird hardly has time for actual dating. That is until Ford Madigan makes her an offer she can’t refuse: a fake relationship that will benefit them both. He’ll get away from the team owner’s entitled daughter while she scores some points with members of the company’s board who love him more than they hate her. It all seems like a simple business transaction–make a few public appearances and pretend they’re in love until they both get what they want. The problem is…Mia find out he’s more than just another jock. He’s a humanitarian using his fortune to help kids all over Texas. Not to mention, he isn’t intimidated by her success like most men. Now Mia wants more from him. She wants something real. But scars from his past keep him from risking his heart a second time. Mia hasn’t gotten where she is in life from settling, but she's also not the kind of woman who will wait around for a man to realize what’s right in front of him. Will he make this relationship more? Or will she be the one who got away?
REVIEW:
Hello Quarterback is the eighth book in the Hello Happily Ever After series which is told in the POVs of Mia Baird, who was introduced as Farrah's friend in the third book, and Ford Madigan, who was introduced as one of Fletcher's brothers in the past four books. Mia and Ford are both career oriented people who love their careers and family but haven't had much luck in finding their forever love. It was fun to read how both Mia and Ford initial started with a fake relationship in order to help each other with their careers but slowly they ended up falling in love as they got to know each other more personally. Mia has had to deal with a lot as a plus-size single female CEO where her CFO is sowing doubts about her to the company board members. Ford has had to deal with the loss of his mother at a young age and with making sure that he is at the top of his game to win the Super Bowl for his team. When Ford was at the restaurant and saw that Mia was with the self-absorbed actor Hayden French was the moment I knew that Ford started to have real romantic feelings for Mia.
Those first few moments that Ford and Mia had when they started their fake relationship to help their careers were a bit frustrating because they both were starting to fall in love but didn't think the other felt the same way. I loved the moment when both Ford and Mia finally told each other that they had fall in love since all the misunderstandings were done with and they could communicate their love clearly. It was such a sad moment after Ford got hurt that he pushed Mia away even though he didn't really want to which ended up hurting her deeply. I mentally cheered when Mia finally forgave Ford with them both agreeing that they it was them always. In the end Ford had to work on himself and his issues in order to show to Mia that he is ready to be the best man he could be and that he would never give up on them as a couple no matter what comes at them. Now I'm waiting for Hayes book.
