This romance was enjoyable, but I had a few issues with it. I liked the later relationship that developed between Angie and Dominic, especially their connection over their shared background. I also liked how Angie's relationship with the baby was handled. It explored all the different emotions an accidental surrogate might undergo without judgement towards Angie. Nevertheless, I really disliked how judgemental Dominic was towards Angie at the beginning of the book. I also hated how a character with anorexia was handled. It felt that all the focus on the loved ones around the character, not acknowledging the suffering that a person with anorexia undergoes. Of course, the loved ones around an anorexic person deserve to have their story and their pain heard, but it should not at the expense of the sick person. At one point, the character is even called "shallow". Anorexia is not a moral failing - it is a disease. Stop shaming mental illness. It does not achieve anything but more pain.
cw: talk of abortion, anorexia (side character), shaming of anorexia, emotional abuse (not between Dominic and Angie), poverty, mentions of cancer and parental death

An ok read. The fertility clinic thing was not done believably. A near poverty couple and an extremely wealthy billionaire couple going to the same clinic? The heroine had too much self-pity. Lot of inconsistencies like this which made it a very ok read.
