The book is a pop star turned broadway celebrity romance with some of my favourite book tropes like childhood crushes to enemies to lovers, second chance romance, forced proximity in professional setting! What’s not to like

I get so much anxiety reading books by this author. Just imagining what Kathleen went through upsets me. The injustice of Kathleen’s situation mirrors too much how the current court of public opinion mistreats women. By the time Chapter 3 rolled around, I skipped to the end and read the book backwards.

Ultimately, I didn’t see enough to convince me that Cal and Kathleen would have really ended up together. That’s 2 stars. The 3rd star is for the quality of the writing, which kept me reading and fuming (it’s still stuck in my head hours after finishing).

Still - I 1000% wish Riveted! was a real show!
