Some great new characters in this book and a few moments that did make me tear up big time, but I can’t help thinking I would’ve struggled with this one a lot more if I wasn’t doing the tandem read. Nesryn is boring as all hell, sorry not sorry.

TWO YEARS!!! two whole years i put off reading this book because everyone said it was slow and only about chaol and I just could not be bothered, and left this series unfinished for TWO YEARS!!! and this book!? I loved it.

Das war am Ende doch nicht so schlecht, wie ich am Anfang dachte! Es hatte fast ein bisschen Mystery Vibes, inkl. Who-done-it Trope, was ich richtig mochte! Yrene ist auch ein wirklich guter Charakter. Auch wenn es sich erstmal wie ein Spin-Off anfühlt, sollte man es auf gar keinen Fall überspringen. 4,5
