This book was such an easy read. Set out as diary entries made it really easy to pick up and put down. I loved the main character Phoebe and how misunderstood she was. At times came across as sarcastic but I loved her!
This book had a really lovely community and friendship feel. Who doesn’t love a book containing love, friendship, community and cats.
There wasn’t a massive plot but I loved it for all the lovely characters.

This book reminded me a lot of Confessions of Georgia Nicolson, only sassier, quirkier, and sapphic. I immediately took to Phoebe, who was absolutely hilarious and eager to share her opinions on everything. Her frustrations with her best friend dropping her the moment she got a boyfriend were extremely relatable. I also found the ongoing saga of the designer cats amusing. All around a really fun YA read for those who enjoy diary style novels.

There is so much to love about this book. It targets the YA audience perfectly, especially a much under-represented audience. We need more books that represent the LGBTQ+ auidence. I love that the main character actually sounded like a teenager vs a teenager pretending to be an adult. The diary format is fun and will capture the attention of the target audience. This book tackles real-life situations, has a character who is relatable, even when not likable, and is witty, sarcastic, and real all at the same time.

A sweet queer romance, kind of a slow burn trope. I really enjoyed it. I liked that the book approached the mother-daughter relationship as well, and it was relevant till the end of the book.
