lowering to 4 stars bc while this book made me sob harder than i’ve cried over most books the last half & the epilogue fell flat to me; it was too rushed, anticlimactic, and most of the saving the world part didn’t make me feel anything — it was just there. + for a series built on unpredicability and twists the epilogue with the wedding and everything tying everything up with a neat little bow on top as if the actual ending of the book didn’t open up potential new arcs for the characters just felt inherently Wrong to me idk. also matthew should’ve gotten to punch both brothers <3
