There’s a Bojack Horseman quote that fits Another Country perfectly. “Time’s arrow neither stands still nor reverses. It merely marches forward.” Loved this book so much.

Really enjoyed part 1 but once Rufus exits the novel, things get a little too melodramatic and horny. This is coming from a guy who loves those things in a book, but, sometimes this feels like an incredibly well written soap opera.
