I'm giving it 3.5 stars just because it's a classic and an iconic adaptation was made out of it (yes I mean the Tom and jerry one )

A great quick read! Loved the stories within the story! However by today's standards this would not be considered a children's book.

Quick and lighthearted read. It's fun reading this book as an adult because you realize the irony in what each character wants and their actions throughout the story.

I listened to this book on Audible (the version narrated by Anne Hathaway) and I just loved it so much. The Wizard of Oz has always been one of my favorite movies. I just never read the books before. I don't know why I waited so long to read the book, but I loved it oh so much. And if you're able to listen to the Anne Hathaway version on Audible, I highly recommend it. She did an amazing job narrating and she should do more voice work!
