Freida McFadden • The Coworker

What the hell was this book?

* Workplace thriller
* Murder mystery

Two women, Natalie and Dawn, both work in the same Vixed Nutritional Supplement office. Natalie is beautiful, popular, and the best in the office at sales. Dawn is the polar opposite. Not conventionally attractive, an accountant, and weirdly obsessed with turtles. Trust me the turtles come up more than you’d ever think possible in this book. When Dawn goes missing, presumed dead, everyone in the office is questioned.

This book was what I expected from Freida McFadden. As the second one I’ve read I’ve come to realise that you can make an assumption at the start of a Freida McFadden book and you might be on the money or way off. Or you could be semi right and semi wrong, as I tend to be.

Somehow, every single character in this book was absolutely the worst. Like they all actually sucked. A lot.

I rated The Coworker 3/5 stars and read it in 3 days.

Could not make it through the books first few chapters

this Freida book was meh for me. I predicted the twists pretty early on and had a hard time wanting to pick it up and read it. Not my fave of hers!
