The Coworker is another twisty triumph from Freida McFadden. Told through dual POVs and a split timeline, we follow Dawn and Natalie as the mystery of Dawn’s disappearance unravels. All signs seem to point to Natalie—but nothing is ever that simple in a McFadden thriller. Just when you think you’ve figured it out, Freida throws in a jaw-dropping twist that turns everything upside down!
Clearly both of these ladies are crazy!!! The turtles though? Lol - so random!
Frieda I will never not love you. I’m obsessed with the way she structures her books. Going back and forth between past and present, then part ll having a second narrator come in… it works every time!!
This book was good and kept me entertained throughout the whole thing. I did predict that the Mia emails were “””not real””” and I was kinda sus on if Dawn was actually dead (the dead body kept throwing me off tho) but the Amelia/Mia twist and being the sister took me ouuuut. Definitely wasn’t suspicious of Caleb until the motel scene. Also the fact that Natalie was actually a gross human being was such a good ending.

A little bit different for McFadden but I enjoyed it! Definitely my second favorite of her works (first is Never Lie)
Moderate: Suicide, Suicide attempt
