Despite the mixed reviews I really liked this! Yes, there was way too much turtle talk but overall this kept my attention and I didn’t see all the twists coming. The ending fell a little flat for me and I didn’t really like any of the MC’s enough to root for them so I’ll give this a 4/5

Another Frieda McFadden slay with her signature twists and turns. Loved it! Can’t decide if I love or hate turtles more after this one
This was good, but not as strong as some of her other books. The twists and turns I felt to be just okay, and none of the characters were likeable, which took away from my experience. I wanted someone to root for, but Natalie is someone I would hate in real life and wouldn’t want anything to do with. Honestly, mean girls don’t make for enjoyable protagonists (in my opinion anyway).
Hated this book so much within the first 10 mins. Ultimate ew. My poor family and friends had to hear me complain about how much I hated the writing for the rest of the week.
