“They were holding hands, and the only reason they were doing it was that they both wanted to. They wanted to touch one another. There was no escaping from that basic fact: Alice wanted, and was wanted in return.”

In my search for more f/f historical romance I bumped against this author. I just knew I had to try this one out and see if it was swoony and fun!

And I can tell you… it was!

Meet Molly, ex-thief and bad girl gone good. Or at least she is trying. As she know has someone to care for. Someone who needs the money she gets from a fair job. I loved Molly, she was sweet, sharp, and had tons of sass, though still keeping it in check.

Then there is Alice. A girl who is now up to her nose in embroidery and lady-like stuff. We slowly find out why she is now at the care of the lady of the house and I was just shocked. That poor girl! And what a terrible father she has. We see how she is trying to make a life and try to figure out if there is more to being in this life other than embroidering.

And these two girls fall in love faster than you can say boop. There is instant attraction between the two, and I was just rooting and hoping that they would get together. They were adorable together and I was looking forward to the moments that they would start kissing and touching. I had a bit of a laugh that both of them thought the other wasn’t interested.
