This was an excellent primer on Keynes' life, philosophy, and economic thought. Goes into good deal on the foundation and influences of the way that Keynes' economic theories were formulated. If you're looking for a easy starting point to understand one of the most influential economic thinkers of the 20th Century you could do worse.
