Favourite Quote: "She wants to hide, but she'll never be able to hide from me. Not even in all the fictional stories in the world"

Okay so I have mixed feelings on this book. I was expecting a love story between two murderous psychopaths and it just fell a bit short. Raven as an FMC had great moments and potential as the daughter of  a serial killer and then would rapidly reset in the way she dealt with her abuse at home or her really freaking annoying cousin. I enjoyed the MMC and his family dynamics but it unfortunately wasn't enough to pull me into reading the second book despite the cliffhanger of the first.

I was hoping to feel more connected to the characters and the story/plot feel flat for me.

If you liked the Mindf*ck series by ST ABBY and The Sinners Duet by Sophie Lark, you should read this book. I have been looking for a book like this where the MC and the FMC are both unalivers. He’s the assassin for his family’s mafia and she’s the daughter of a serial killer. They both have the “touch them and you

Ok this book was absolutely amazing! The tension, the spice, the EMOTION that was conveyed was *chefs kiss*
I could not put it down once I started it!
I absolutely loved the possessive alpha male who gave “I hate everyone but you” vibes and the very strong female “I’ll cut you if you hurt someone I love” vibes
THE DUAL POV MADE EVERYTHING SO MUCH BETTER
Both leads had their own darkness and found a home & strength in each other in a way
No words can express how this book made me feel, I am already waiting to read the second book in the series!
