This was a fantastic way to wrap up the story of Niko and Vasili. I don't want to write "end" their story, because for me they will always be there, continuing to live on in their cottage and working through their many years of issues.

The addition of the knife play into their repertoire was amazing, and fit so well with Vasili's personality, as well as Niko's desire to give him whatever he wants, only to find out that it was something he was totally on board with, as well.

I loved this series so much, it is by far one of my favorites, and so far I've loved everything that Ariana Nash has written. Thank you for all the amazing stories!

I'm happy we got this closure of a novella.

The angst was delicious. Although I can't believe I'm going to say this, but my favourite parts were when they stopped having sex for once and talked things out x-x The amount of sex, and the way they were going from 0 to a 100 in 5 seconds flat, was unrealistic bordering on medically concerning.

The 5th or whatever time Vasili said he was going to sail after all, had me rolling my eyes too tbh. It's the same problem I had with the main trilogy, beating the dead horse of a theme over and over again until it loses all of its impact.

OMG just when I thought Niko and Vasili could just be... Well Vasili thought different...
As always, amazing! I absolutely love it!

This is what was missing in the whole series. Romance and sex and lovey dovey sweetness....with frustration of course.
But I loved this glimpse into Vasili and Niko's life.

All the ooey gooey goodness we wanted for Vasili and Niko. This also completely solidified Niko as boyfriend goals!! I could not get enough of their passion, their fears and their openness (finally) with each other. Vasili at his most vulnerable was a dream!! These two were just incredible!!

This whole series just works for me so of course this addition did too.
Vasili and Niko have worked so hard for happiness yet neither believes in each other or themselves fully to think they deserve it.
I appreciate the fact that although the experiences in the series brought them to this point things aren't just a simple HEA for either man.
Vasili is still just the best and I love him.
