i wish these two could sit down and talk without misinterpreting each other or assuming the worst possible scenarios ever.

Insecurities and lack of communication brought some misunderstandings and moments of angst, but they manage to overcome them and be happy. I really enjoyed the couple!

The perfect balm after such a brutal series. The fragile bond between Niko and Vasili is again put to the test as they struggle with what they mean to each other, now that they’re both free. It’s messy and imperfect, which makes it feel all the more special when they finally do come to an understanding. I wish the main books had more quiet, introspective scenes like the ones here.

This is what was missing in the whole series. Romance and sex and lovey dovey sweetness....with frustration of course.
But I loved this glimpse into Vasili and Niko's life.

Definitely a necessary read to finish the series . It really wraps everything up while spoiling us with some romance,
