I didn’t love the first book in this series, so I hadn’t planned to read the second and third installments. I’m glad that I gave it a chance and finished the series. It all came together nicely for me.
Well damn..this book completely took a different turn from what I expected, compared to the previous books in the series.

How could I not give this book 5 Stars!? This was a cinematic experience. I’ve been intrigued by Ace since reading Ante Up. & The Author’s request had the beginning was an easy one to oblige because the characters were so interesting & the was no shortage of suspense or action in this book. I’m mad that I didn’t read this sooner. Reading now so I can know what’s going on in “No Longer Afraid”.

* A private security (& also vigilante) heroine who’s looking for a missing person whose face is exactly like her own—but whom she doesn’t remember. At first.
* Said heroine is fast thinking & brave & provocative & runs headlong into fights if it means protecting her small circle of people. In one fight she takes down a baddie & then shoots & kills him in front of her lover who is—
* a cop with a heart, who tries to do the right thing.

I chose a 4 because I wanted it to be longer. Lol. I love this author and have read all her books and I'm on her blog as well. She never lets me down. I wish she would put books out every week.
