This is one of my favorite series. While I enjoyed this book, I found it completely frustrating the whole way through. I hate it when I'm reading a book & it just seems like nothing goes right. but thankfully it revealed at the end that the next book will be released this winter so we font have to wait too long.…

It took me a long time to get through this one, mainly because I had been reading this series nonstop and I wanted to move on to something else. I do enjoy this series. It has so much potential. But the storyline is getting dragged ridiculously. I'm starting to hate Ever. She's a good character, but her choices are so poor and naive that she's beginning to really annoy me. When it comes to the drama, once again Noel is dragging it out and she really needs to let it go. Now, Roman did get killed in this one, but seriously… Jude did it? I was ready for a resolution with him, and Ever, for once, was doing an excellent job with him. Now she made Haven the new enemy. Like, what the heck? Why? I think Noel should have just ended the series with this book. I’m getting tired of this whole antidote business. It’s just not exciting anymore. I only gave it 3.5 stars because it started out EXCELLENT and I’m holding onto a thin string that it’ll end with a bang.

This book was literally a roller coaster. At first, you thought all was well, then things get screwed up, then they seem like their fixed, but their not, and then it follows the pattern that all of her books do. It seems like everything is about to be resolved until the last page.
This book will also get you really frustrated with the characters, but I think that's the good thing about this book. They're that relate-able, and even though you're very annoyed with the characters, you're still drawn into the story to see what happens next.

A bit of a disappointment. The entire series is a bit so so for me but this book even more so. Easy quick read that's somewhat entertaining. However I feel like it's kind of an alright already! Pay off would be good. Stop with unfulfilled promises already
Okay, so, I'm really tired of these characters. I can't even see how I put up with Noel's writing style for this long. It's just plain annoying. Oh, and you would think that Ever would learn. She always makes the worst possible decisions.
Haha, I must confess that I only read the dialogue. So, if there was any action, I probably missed it. But, I don't think I missed much :-/ LAME!

I feel that the story is being dragged on too much. The book book starts off with Ever trying to explain to Haven what has happened. She of course doesn't really care what happens and wants to use her powers for selfish things. Throughout the book Ever continues to make terrible choices and not trust those that she should be trusting.
Sometimes I feel like punching Ever. She makes some of the worst mistakes that she could possible make. All throughout she keeps keeping secrets from Damen, secrets that make things worse than they already are. She wants to find the antidote and obsesses so much on it that her actions turn out to hurt herself and others. I was glad to see that at the end of the book she had changed her way of thinking.
The ending was something that kind of shocked me but at the same time I could see it coming. It complicated things even more than they already were but I just think that the thing about not being able to touch is just getting too much.
I will keep reading this series because I really want to know what happens. This book wasn't the best out of the whole series but I'm hoping that the books will get a bit better.

Hated the ending, but the rest of the book was good, kept me on the edge of my seat. I loved that last scene with Ever and Roman. But Jude - I hate that guy.
