Wow. I’m not quite sure what to say about this amazing book without giving away any spoilers. Felicity shows up in Nashville with practically nothing, desperate for a job. She gets lucky at the Nightingale. The Nightingale is where Felicity meets Ryder and his band. The sparks between Felicity and Ryder-HOT HOT HOT!! As the story slowly unravels, my emotions were all over the place, there was no smooth sailing for these two. With each new revelation my heart was broken just a little bit more. Faded just seemed so REAL, like I was right there with the gang. The book ended with a bang-a definite cliffhanger for sure. I’m counting down the days until Unfaded releases!!

4.5 stars!!!

I couldn't wait to DEVOUR more words from Julie Johnson. She NEVER ceases to amaze me. Faded hooked me completely from page one. Ryder and Felicity were complex characters that I couldn't get enough of!! I'm looking forward to learning even more about them in Unfaded.

The reason why I rated it 4.5 stars instead of 5 was because of the last few chapters of the book. It has a completely different feel than the rest of the book and it didn't help that Ryder REALLY pissed me off.

I'm SO thankful I don't have to wait that long for the second half of this duet. Because I kind of NEED it.

there was no use in this being a duet, should have just been one book.

I was loving this, wHY WHY WHY DID YOU HAVE TO GO AND DO THAT?

I hate this

That was so fucking stupid.
I would have thrown the book out a window if I hadn’t been reading on my phone

I knew this ended on a cliff hanger and I still had to read it. Now I’m not sure how I’m going to make it a few weeks until I wait to see what happens. A book is great when you can feel the emotion and I felt pain with that ending. I need to know how their story ends.

Why is this not a 5 Star? I find it hard to rate a story that isn’t over.
