Really enjoyed the first half of this book and it spoke to me a lot as a married woman. Once they started making up, it lost a little bit of the spark for me. They were a little too lovey-dovey for me, but it was still good and sweet and inspiring.

It was a good book, arguably one of the better ones I’ve read this year. But after the second book of the series with Ren and Frankie, this just didn’t live up to how much I connected with that one. It was good, it was frustrating at times but I think that’s what makes a good author, to write characters that you love to know but also want to slap across the arm cause they can’t see sense. I don’t know, but I like this series

Middle marriage romance book - people finding their way back to love in the middle of all that life throws at a relationship. Some mental health representation. Way more spicy (graphic) than I was expecting.

2nd read: 14-15 April 2024
learning a new appreciation of these characters and their trope (fixing a marriage 10 years in)

1st read: 17 June 2022
i expected this to be my fav and it wasn't (still waiting!! to see which bergman sibling ends up being my ultimate fave!!) but usually, unfotunately, romance characters are always more awesome in the books where they're not main characters.
